引退からの復帰2作目となる当作はRidley Scott監督による実在のギャングを扱った同名映画(USでは2007秋公開)にインスパイアされて急遽作成されたものである。当然、製作期間が比較的短いわけなのだが、それを感じさせない完成度の高さに驚く。また、そのせいか、サンプリングが多様されており、特に70年代中心にソウル/ファンク系のネタが多く、楽器もうまく使われていて、映画の時代に合わせた音を作り出そうとしていることが感じられる。同様にアルバムの構成が映画に近づけたようなストーリー展開になっているのも特徴的で、サウンドと相俟ってそれらしい雰囲気をもったアルバムに仕上がっている。
