Blue NoteにおけるAl Greenの3作目。1960年代のデビュー以降コンスタントにアルバムをリリースしてきた人だが21世紀を迎えても、その制作意欲は衰えていない。今アルバムの特色は、なんといってもProducerとして全面的にJames Poyserと?uestloveが起用されていること。(もちろんMusicianとしても。) フィリー・サウンドやコンテンポラリーなものを持ち込んで来るという予想を裏切って、生音+ホーン+ストリングスによって70年代のハイ・サウンドが見事に再現されている。３人のVocal Guestの人選もベストで、作品の雰囲気にマッチしている。R&Bファンとしてはこういうアルバムを聴いているときが至福のときです。
